Elara Caring is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide to join our in-home care team in Texas. You will provide hands-on personal care under a RN, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient safety in the home setting.

Responsibilities include following care plans, reporting changes to the team, maintaining privacy, and complying with infection control guidelines. Valid HHA or CNA certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, or have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
• Help patients safely walk, transfer, and use mobility equipment.

• Monitor and report changes in a patient’s condition to the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Remind patients to take medications as directed.
• Respond to emergency situations and follow infection control guidelines.

As a Certified Nurse Aide, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide hands-on personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

• Maintain accurate documentation, protect patient privacy, and participate in required training.

What is Required?

• Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide certification or Certified Nursing Aide certification
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
