Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN in the Kansas City Metro, MO area for a full-time role. The nurse will coordinate new patient admissions, perform comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, and work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.

Requirements include MO RN license, CPR, a valid driver's license, two years of RN clinical experience, and at least one year of hospice experience.

Qualifications

• MissourI RN license is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Two years of RN experience in a clinical care setting is required.
• One year of full-time hospice experience is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new patient admissions.
• Collaborate with patient care teams to support seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding condition, needs, and care.
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
