Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Finishing Operator to perform final inspection of finished hose, measure and cut hose to length, wind hose onto spool, and box it for shipment.

You will operate the Inspect and Pack lines and monitor equipment to ensure product quality and safety, while using appropriate tools and gauges. Overtime, weekends, and extended shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Production work preferred but not required.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
• Sound decision making skills.
• Good math, reading, writing skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong trouble shooting skills.
• Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attention.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Inspect and Pack lines and applicable software per procedure.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure product quality.
• Ensure equipment safety and safe operation by all personnel.
• Use Pi Tapes and Plug Gauges correctly to ensure quality.
• Identify and document good and non-conforming products.
• Work overtime including extended shifts and weekends as needed.
