Job summary

Anderson Process is seeking a Hose Assembly Technician in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, to assemble hoses and fulfill orders under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager.

You will gather parts, verify dimensions, and support related departments, while maintaining safety and efficiency in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a record allowing insurance coverage.
• Possession or willingness to obtain a DOT Med Card.
• NAHAD Industrial Hose Certification or willingness to be certified.
• Ability to complete work accurately and promptly.
• Ability to adapt to changing work order sequences.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Self-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to operate sit-down or reach forklift (certification provided).

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
• Assemble components by checking connections and fastening parts.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Support the repair department and inventory integrity activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment per procedures.

Summary

The Hose Assembly Technician, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, is responsible for gathering appropriate components and assembling hoses to fulfill orders. Support Anderson Process Core Values of: Growth, Expertise, Embrace Change, Teamwork, & Community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related activities including supporting the repair department, picking up/dropping off products, aiding inventory integrity activities etc.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Experience

Required

• Valid driver’s license with a record that allows you to be covered by company insurance.
• Possession of a DOT Med Card or ability/willingness to obtain one.
• NAHAD Industrial Hose Certification or willingness to be certified (Certification Training Provided).
• Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to adapt to changing work order/sequences.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Self-driven and strong sense of urgency.
• Able to operate sit down or reach fork truck (Certification Training Provided).

Preferred

• Previous assembly experience using hand tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk most of the day.
• Ability to twist and turn at least 25% of day.
• Stoop and bend at least 25% of day.
• Ability to reach above shoulders at least 25% of day.
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements at least 50% of the day.
• Forearm rotation at least 25%of the day.
