Job summary
Epic is seeking a Horticulture Technician on our Madison, WI campus. The role supports landscape care across our campus, including ornamental gardens, turf, and irrigation, with hands-on tasks from planting to snow removal.
Relocation assistance is provided; candidates must be able to work outdoors 8 hours a day, lift 50 lbs, and have a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field. Wisconsin driver's license and willingness to relocate within 45 minutes of Verona campus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field.
- Ability to work outdoors 8 hours daily and lift 50 lbs.
- Experience with temperate ornamental horticulture and/or arboriculture preferred.
- Experience with commercial equipment preferred.
- Valid WI Driver's license required.
- Live within 45 minutes of Epic's Campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate.
- COVID-19 vaccination
Responsibilities
- Care for campus ornamental gardens and turf.
- Maintain irrigation systems and landscape equipment.
- Planting, watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading.
- Snow removal and other seasonal grounds tasks.
- Lead and support campus projects with site or turf teams.
