Job summary

Epic in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Horticulture Technician to maintain our diverse campus landscape, including ornamental gardens and turf areas. You will assist and lead projects on campus, with hands-on duties across planting, watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, and irrigation work.

Relocation assistance is provided. A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field is required, and candidates must be able to work outdoors all day and lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors 8 hours a day and lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in temperate ornamental horticulture and/or arboriculture preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Must have a valid WI Driver's license
• Live within 45 minutes of Epic's Campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate

• Care for campus ornamental gardens and maintain turf and irrigation systems.
• Assist and help lead projects on campus, site, or turf teams.
• Plant, water, weed, mulching, pruning, deadheading, burning, and snow removal as needed
