Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend to the horticulture needs of commercial clients.
• Maintain plants and trees using water, fertilizer, hand tools, and horticultural equipment.
• Perform watering, fertilizing, pruning, trimming, weeding, planting, and seasonal maintenance.
• Monitor plants and trees for pests, disease, damage, or other concerns.
• Communicate customer, plant, or landscape concerns to the Field Leader.
• Interact with clients in a courteous, professional, and informative manner.
• Complete scheduled services thoroughly and on time.
• Safely operate and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

The Horticulture Technician is responsible for meeting the horticultural needs of commercial clients and maintaining healthy, attractive plants, trees, and landscaped areas. This position provides routine plant care, interacts with customers, follows established service schedules, and communicates concerns to the Field Leader.
