Job summary

The Club at Kukui'ula in Hawaii is seeking a Farm Laborer to support daily farm and landscape operations. You will perform planting, transplanting, garden bed maintenance, mowing and turf care, weed control, fertilization, irrigation maintenance, and general upkeep under supervision.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in horticulture, farming, and outdoor maintenance. Candidates should be able to operate tools safely, work with a team, and adapt to outdoor conditions in a resort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in farming, landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture, plant care, or propagation is helpful.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment is preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and landscape maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety and following work instructions.
• Willingness to learn new farming and landscaping techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform planting, transplanting, and garden bed maintenance.
• Mow lawns and maintain turf using walk-behind mowers and other equipment.
• Perform weed-eating, edging, trimming, and blowing of landscape areas.
• Apply fertilizers and assist with pesticide applications in accordance with safety procedures.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and minor repairs.
• Prune trees, shrubs, and plants.
• Operate line trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other powered landscape equipment.
• Safely operate electric- and fuel-powered tools.
• Use hand tools, hoses, planting materials, and required PPE.
• Perform general farm and landscape maintenance as assigned.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Perform physically demanding work including lifting, bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods.
