Qualifications

• Two years of technical education in horticulture or related field.
• Four to six years experience in a horticulture field.
• Becomes WPS certified within 10 days of hire.
• Acquire a Category L pesticide license within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled garden tasks including pruning, planting, propagating, and diagnosing plant disease.
• Plans and leads assigned crew in daily tasks and maintains efficient work routines.
• Coordinates, plans, and prioritizes daily tasks and long-range projects with manager.
• Complies with all safety procedures related to duties.
• Trains assigned staff in horticulture skills and ensures access to training.
