Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a position in Ohio to assist the State Veterinarian. The role involves collecting urine samples from horses, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring Test Barn and shed row areas are clean between races.

You will support the veterinarian and the race commission in regulatory compliance. The candidate should be 19+, licensed and approved by the Ohio State Racing Commission, with solid horse-handling experience, strong communication, and the stamina to work in

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age.
• Must be approved by the Ohio State Racing Commission.
• Must be licensed by the Ohio State Racing Commission.
• Thorough knowledge of horses and horse handling experience.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 60 lbs., and to perform duties in confined spaces.

Responsibilities
