Job summary

Future Infrastructure, LLC is seeking an experienced Horizontal Directional Bore Operator to oversee HDD operations and locate appropriate utility corridors. You will supervise a two-person crew, operate Vermeer or Ditch Witch rigs, and ensure safe, high‑quality production in outdoor environments.

The role requires CDL A/B with Tanker endorsement, 2+ years of directional bore experience, and the ability to travel for out-of-town assignments while reading maps and diagrams for project builds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of verifiable directional bore experience.
• CDL Class A/B with Tanker Endorsement.
• Experience with Vermeer or Ditch Witch units.
• Underground construction experience.

• Knowledge of utility industry safety practices and requirements.

Job Overview:As the Horizontal Directional Bore Operator, you possess a high level of expertise in locating and product support equipment, as well as running horizontal/directional drill rigs prefer 9X13 Vermeer horizontal directional drill rig. You will have experience performing all duties of a Horizontal Directional Bore Operator/Locator and will have advanced skills in horizontal directional boring. As the lead, you will supervise employees on how to operate a horizontal directional bore machine and locating box. Your overall goal is to strive for optimal production while working safely and performing quality work.Qualifications and Experience2+ years of verifiable directional bore experience.CDL Class A/B with Tanker EndorsementExperience with different size Vermeer or Ditch Witch unitsPractical experience of underground construction for gas.
