Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) to protect guests and staff at a Honolulu hotel and resort location. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent service.

Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, a background check, and a valid security license where required. This role offers flexible scheduling and a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hotel public areas, guest spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to identify conditions.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Document incidents and patrol activities with accurate details for management.
