Job summary

WRNS Studio in Honolulu seeks a Project Architect to lead design teams and oversee documentation from concept through permit submission. This on-site role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and a commitment to sustainable, design-driven outcomes.

You will direct project delivery, coordinate with consultants, and ensure construction administration maintains design intent while meeting local codes and client goals.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture required (BArch/MArch).
• Registered architect with license.
• LEED accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams through all phases of projects, from concept to construction on various sizes and levels of complexity.
• Provide project team leadership and coordinate with consultants to engage clients, aligning vision and deliverables.
• Participate in production and oversee documentation of projects from concept, through entitlement, to permit submission.
• Oversee construction administration, ensuring design intent is maintained through execution.
• Exercise knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, and construction techniques.
• Work independently and as part of a project team, collaborating effectively to achieve excellence in design and sustainability.
