Job summary

The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Inc. seeks a Geriatrician for its Geriatrics Department in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The role involves outpatient and inpatient geriatric consults and supportive geriatric palliative care within a collegial 4-member team. Ideal candidates have completed a geriatrics fellowship, hold board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with geriatrics, and have 2–5 years of geriatrics experience; hospice/palliative care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board certification or clinical experience in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred.
• Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine is required or strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of recent geriatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient geriatric consults and geriatric palliative care consults.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive geriatric care.
• Support staff and ensure high-quality patient care in geriatrics.
