Job summary

Fusion Academy Scottsdale is seeking a Homework Café Teacher to support students in homework hubs and social spaces. This role features 1-to-1 attention and a community-focused culture.

You will monitor progress, communicate with teachers and parents, and adapt support to each learner’s needs, while fostering social-emotional growth and campus life. A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees or credentials a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or teaching credentials are a plus.
• Ability to support students with a wide range of assignments.
• Experience with learners with differences, neurodiversity, or mental health needs.
• Mentoring and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Strong technology skills and willingness to learn new tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and help students’ progress on homework and executive functioning.
• Communicate with teachers and parents on student progress.
• Promote a positive social environment for students.
• Adapt support to meet each learner’s needs.
• Mentor students and support social-emotional growth.
• Keep student records accurate and organized.
• Participate in professional development and growth opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
