Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to develop iOS applications that can scale to reach millions of users. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in app development and strong expertise in Objective C, SwiftUI, Cocoa Framework, and XCode. You will work collaboratively with teams and continuously evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.
• Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services.
• Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable.
• Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and bring ideas to the table.
• Collaborate with different teams and other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
• 5+ years’ experience in developing iOS applications.
• Expert in Objective C, SwiftUI/Swift, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, and Interface Builder, with a strong interest in learning and sharing skills.
• Proficient with common object‑oriented programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection, and more.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.

• Can turn ideas and code into a perfect customer experience.
