Job summary

Abernathy Home Care is seeking caring Homemakers to help older adults remain safe and independent in their own homes across Danvers, Peabody, Beverly, and nearby North Shore communities. No hands-on personal care required. Flexible schedules; part-time and full-time options available.

You'll handle light housekeeping, meal planning, companionship, errands, and medication reminders, with paid training and supportive team backing you.

Qualifications

• Previous homemaking, housekeeping, caregiving, hospitality, customer service, or related experience is helpful but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Abernathy Home Care is seeking caring, dependable Homemakers to help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes throughout Danvers, Peabody, Beverly, and surrounding North Shore communities.

As a Homemaker, you'll provide companionship and assistance with everyday household tasks that make a big difference in our clients' lives. No hands-on personal care is required.

Whether you're looking for part-time, full-time, weekday, evening, or weekend hours, we'll work with you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

What You'll Do

Our Homemakers help clients by providing:

• Light housekeeping and home organization
• Laundry and changing bed linens
• Meal planning and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Companionship and friendly conversation
• Escorting clients on walks or appointments
• Medication reminders
• Helping create a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
