Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking Homemaker/Companion to support clients at home under a written care plan. The role involves helping with daily living activities, meal planning, housekeeping, and providing companionship.

Scheduling is directed by the Agency Care Coordinator and supervised by an Agency Supervisor. The incumbent will participate in mandatory training, maintain a safe home environment, and assist with errands and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• One year of experience with providing personal care is preferred.
• One year of experience in a home care setting is preferred.
• Drug test and regulatory training may be required.

Responsibilities

Overview

A Homemaker/Caregiver is a non‑licensed member of the home health care team who assists the client with activities of daily living as outlined in a written care plan. This is established by the Care Coordinator. Homemakers/Companions are supervised by an Agency Supervisor and receive scheduling direction from their Agency Care Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Participating in In‑Service Education programs as assigned by the

• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Preferred

• One year of experience with providing personal care
• One year of experience in a home care setting

Special Conditions Of Employment

• Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
• Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation

$ 18.75 per hour.

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience , and education.
