Job summary

LIFE PACE in Tulsa is seeking a compassionate HomeCare Aide to support older adults in their homes. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation assistance, helping clients maintain independence and safety.

This role requires a valid Oklahoma Long-Term Care Aide or Home Health Aide certification, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 8AM-12PM or 5PM-9PM).

Qualifications

  • Hold any required Oklahoma care certifications.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and families.
  • Demonstrate patience and empathy in in-home care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Light housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and bed making.
  • Meal preparation and grocery errands as needed.
  • Encourage independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing.
  • Monitor and document services and client wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team to provide excellent service.

Do you have a passion for helping others live safely and independently in their own homes? At LIFE PACE we're looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our HomeCare team. As a HomeCare Aide, you'll build meaningful relationships while providing essential support that allows older adults to maintain their independence and quality of life.

What You'll Do

As a HomeCare Aide, you'll provide personalized, in-home assistance to seniors, including:

  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, feeding, and mobility.
  • Supporting clients with light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and making beds.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping and other errands.
  • Encouraging clients to remain as independent and active as possible while providing support.
  • Monitoring and documenting services provided, participant wellbeing, and any incidents or concerns.
  • Maintaining a safe home environment and following proper lifting and body mechanics.
  • Working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members while providing exceptional customer service to clients and families.
