Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for routes with home time at resets, based in Byhalia, MS. You can expect weekly pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus (paid 1/2 at 30 days and 1/2 at 90 days), a $1,000 yearly bonus, and a weekly guarantee of $1,657.64.

Training is provided, with 36-month newer trucks and national maintenance support. Routes cover multiple states including AL, AR, FL, KY, MS, LA, TN, IN, MO with back-to-back home resets.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background check including MVR checks.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• 9 months to 5 years of verifiable truck driving experience within specific windows.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and safety standards.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
