Job summary

UACL Logistics is actively seeking experienced Class A CDL Owner Operators for flatbed work in New Jersey. This role lets you operate modern equipment, manage your own schedule, and work within a robust network that supports your driving focus.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, securely tying loads, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, navigating routes, communicating with dispatch, and maintaining freight records with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent DOT-regulated driving experience within the last year.
• Coil certification & rack.
• TWIC Card.
• Physical capability to load/unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed trucks with manual transmissions on designated routes.
• Load and unload freight efficiently with cargo safety.
• Securely tie down loads using proper equipment for flatbed cargo.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Navigate routes effectively, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers about delivery schedules and load status.
• Manage freight documentation and compliance records.
