Job summary

Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team in Maple Plain, MN. This full-time role offers a predictable schedule from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm and a wage range of $21.00 to $23.20 per hour based on experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of cooking experience and strong teamwork and customer service skills. Prepare and serve home-style meals for residents, maintain a clean kitchen, and support dietary needs in a supportive, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial cooking experience required.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation for residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
