Ace-Handyman-Service is seeking a skilled Craftsman or Carpenter to handle residential repairs in Tigard, OR. You’ll join as a full-time W2 employee, traveling to homes to perform carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, and light electrical/plumbing tasks with an emphasis on clear homeowner communication and a stress-free experience.

You’ll manage schedules via a smartphone app, build trust with clients, and pursue regular pay increases as you establish yourself as the go-to local expert.

Qualifikationen

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall, tiling, painting, or light electrical/plumbing.
• At least 2 years of experience working directly with clients or homeowners, with excellent communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Your own standard set of hand and power tools.
• A reliable vehicle capable of carrying a ladder (unless utilizing a company-provided vehicle).
• Comfortable using smartphone apps to manage schedules and process payments.
• Must reside within 25 miles of Tigard, OR.
• Comfortable with a pre-employment background check and drug screening, if extended an offer.

We are seeking a skilled, professional Craftsman or Carpenter who loves working with their hands and helping homeowners, but wants to leave behind the stress of chasing down leads or working unpredictable weekend hours. In this role, you get the best of both worlds: the independence of managing your own daily projects and the stability of reliable, year-round, full-time employment as a W2 employee. You will represent a trusted brand right here in the Tigard area, helping local residents maintain, repair, and improve their homes.

What Success Looks Like

Your primary goal is to provide high-quality craftsmanship and a stress-free experience for our clients. Here is what success looks like on a day-to-day basis and over time:

On a daily basis: You will travel to residential job sites in the Tigard area to complete a variety of small-to-medium home repairs and improvements. This includes carpentry, drywall patching, painting, tiling, and light plumbing or electrical work.

Customer interaction: You will discuss the scope of work directly with homeowners, explain your process, build trust, and ensure they are highly satisfied with your work before you leave.

Business operations: You will use a smartphone app to check your schedule, track job details, and complete invoices or collect payments on-site.

Over time: Success means becoming a trusted, go-to expert for our local clients, consistently delivering high-quality results that lead to repeat business, excellent reviews, and regular pay increases.

Position Requirements

Must-Haves:

At least 7 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall, tiling, painting, or light electrical/plumbing.

At least 2 years of experience working directly with clients or homeowners, with excellent communication skills.

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on your experience and skills.
