Job summary

Classet is hiring a Handyman/Carpenter in California to handle carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, light plumbing and electrical tasks. You should bring a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and 5+ years of experience.

We offer year-round work, a starting rate of $28-$35 per hour depending on experience, weekends off, tool stipend, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement. Driver’s license and own tools required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years handyman, carpentry, or remodeling experience.
• Lives within 20 miles of El Dorado Hills.
• Truck or SUV capable of hauling an extension ladder.
• Comfortable with pre-employment and background check.
• Regularly commuting up to 50 miles for service calls.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience, including collecting payment.
• Proficient in basic carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, light plumbing/electrical.

Responsibilities

• Perform handyman and carpentry work including tiling, painting, drywall and basic plumbing/electrical.
• Interact with customers and collect payments during service calls.

Requirements

We are looking for handymen with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades?from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical. Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Must have own tools
• Comfortable with pre-employment and background check
• 5+ years of handyman, carpentry, or remodeling experience
• Lives within 20 miles of El Dorado Hills
• Must have Truck or SUV capable of hauling an extension ladder
• Comfortable regularly commuting up to 50 miles for service calls

• Proficient in Fans, Interior and Exterior Lights, Garbage Disposal, Faucet Installation, Toilet installation, Smoke Detector installation/Troubleshooting, Fence Post & Gate Repair
