Job summary

Orkin in Washington state is seeking a Pro (Termite Pro) to perform essential home pest-control installations along a scheduled route, focusing on safety and quality workmanship.

You will receive paid training, with opportunities for pay increases and promotions, plus benefits such as a company vehicle, insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

No prior pest-control experience is required; you will be trained and licensed within the first 90 days, supported by a team with clear advancement paths.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers.
• No previous pest control experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily assigned route within your territory
• Prepare and install pest control services (attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, etc.)
• Complete all service-related documentation
• Build trusted relationships and represent Orkin with pride
• Work in various environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders
• Operate a company vehicle safely
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Prioritize safety in all tasks
• Perform duties in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Follow a daily assigned route within your territory
• Prepare and install services such as: Attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, Gutter protection systems and Radiant heat barriers
• Complete all required service‑related documentation
• Build trusted relationships and represent Orkin with pride
• Work in a variety of environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces
• Operate a company vehicle safely
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Prioritize safety in every aspect of the job, including equipment use, work environments, and customer interactions
• Perform duties in all weather conditions

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• No Previous Pest Control Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route‑based assignments and interact with our great customers

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
