Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Home Sales Inspector in the Wichita area. You will conduct in-home inspections from attics to crawlspaces, diagnose pest issues, and present tailored solutions using a company-approved sales process.

You’ll earn a strong commission with base earnings potential and lead flow provided by Orkin. The role emphasizes safety, customer relationships, and consistent performance across weather and job sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work independently and physically in the field.
• Willingness to obtain required state licenses (Orkin will train and pay for it).
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and physically in the field
• Willingness to obtain required state licenses (we’ll pay for it and train you!)
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
