Job summary

Sleep Management, LLC, operating as VieMed for home respiratory therapy services, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to support patients in Columbus, OH. You will install and service respiratory equipment, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and ensure accurate patient records and billing.

The role requires a valid Respiratory Therapist license and prior respiratory experience, with on-call rotation and collaboration across clinical staff to deliver high-quality home care.

Qualifications

• Must have medical or respiratory experience.
• Must hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state you practice.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the clinical, technical and administrative functions of the Home Respiratory Therapist program at the location on record.
• Install and deliver respiratory equipment and provide all necessary supplies to patients at home, with ongoing assessment of patients and equipment.
• Maintain records, charting, progress notes, clinical files, equipment records and other documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory of Sleep Management/VieMed assets and supplies.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance (covered by employer) and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Oversee regulatory rules and guidelines pertaining to the staff respiratory therapist; orientation and training of staff.
• Collaborate with office staff to ensure prompt billing and proper third-party documentation; work with clinical and sales teams to promote services.
