Job summary

Apria Healthcare seeks a Respiratory Therapist to assist in treating and managing patients with clinical needs in home care settings. You will train patients and caregivers, perform respiratory tests, monitor equipment and ensure accurate data entry for follow-up documentation.

The role requires NBRC registration, a valid state license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. On-site patient visits across Nashville and surrounding areas are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• NBRC registration and appropriate state RCP license.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate and maintain respiratory care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients/caregivers on proper use of respiratory care equipment.
• Ensure patients can operate and maintain equipment.
• Perform puls oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, and vital signs.
• Conduct routine patient follow-ups and on-call duties as needed.
• Prepare and maintain patient records with care plans and prescriptions.
• Enter data accurately on monitoring systems and consult with physicians.
