Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical or respiratory experience.
• A valid Respiratory Therapist license in the State in which you practice.

Responsibilities

• Install/deliver respiratory therapist equipment and provide supplies to patients in the home.
• Maintain clinical contact with physicians and other care providers.
• Maintain records, charting, progress notes, and equipment/maintenance files.
• Maintain inventory of assets and supplies; vehicle maintenance as applicable.
• Ensure regulatory guidelines are followed and train new staff.
• Assist with billing/documentation and ensure third-party payer guidelines are met.
• Promote and market home respiratory therapist services to referral sources.
• Ensure equipment is safe prior to installation; provide patient availability and on-call support.
