Job summary

Western Exterminator Company is seeking a field technician to perform termite-related structural repairs and provide clear customer guidance on conditions related to termite activity. The role includes hands-on carpentry tasks and on-the-job training to develop skills for safe, effective work.

The position requires basic construction knowledge and reliable customer service experience, plus the ability to obtain necessary licenses. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Construction knowledge and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry Skills- Work hands-on daily performing structural repairs caused by termite damage including repairs to fascia boards, sheathing, eves, rafters, wood siding, trim, roofing, sub-floors, decks & patios etc.
• Customer Experience- Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process.
• Continuous Learning- WILL TRAIN No experience in pest control necessary. Robust training is provided for all required duties to ensure you have the knowledge and abilities to complete work safely.

Position Requirements

• Operate and maintain your equipment and vehicle in a state of cleanliness and good working order.
• Safely climb and use a ladder
• Crawl through attics and sub-areas
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
• Must posses valid driver’s license from state of residence

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of customer service
• Construction knowledge and experience is required

Base pay range: $17.16 - $24.04 / hour

Hourly: $17.00 - $23.00
