Mr. Handyman is expanding its Orlando team to handle home maintenance and remodeling projects, backed by a company-supplied van and a full scheduling/support back office. You will use ServiceTitan and Square for operations, with a focus on exceptional customer care and efficient project execution.

We’re seeking highly skilled craftsmen who can handle a range of tasks, from carpentry to painting and basic plumbing/electrical, while maintaining a professional image and safety standards.

Formación

• Live within 10–20 miles of the Lake Mary, FL office.
• 8+ years paid handyman/home remodeling experience.
• Own all tools and be insurable to drive the company vehicle.
• Pass background and driving record checks; lift 50 lb; work at heights safely.
• Presentable, professional appearance and vehicle upkeep.

Your Responsibilities as a Handyman Professional

• Completing Home Maintenance & Repairs – You’ll be completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. The project length can range from two hours to multiple days.
• Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate daily with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
• Create Life-Long Customers – Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers. You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time. 70% of our business is repeat business.

To Succeed in this Role

• You’ll need to self-manage as you’ll be alone often.
• You’ll need to speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments using Square.
• You’ll need to have the necessary work tools, including the ability to use technology.
• You'll need to document the job while following our process, the Mr. Handyman Way.
• You’ll need to wear proper PPE as well as booties to protect our customer’s home.

Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

• Live within the a 10-20 mile radius of our office in Lake Mary, FL
• Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman/home remodeling professional
• Own all of your own tools
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle
• Complete a background and driving record check
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Able to safely work at heights and work overheard for extended periods of time
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle

As an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following:

• Carpentry work
• Bathroom improvements
• Kitchen improvements
• Painting, both inside and out
• Drywall work, minor and major repairs
• General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law
• Floor installation and refurbishing
• Familiarity with building codes

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is an avg. of $850-950/week + bonus potential + a company provided vehicle. Increases will come with performance at 90 days and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as drywall finishing/repairs (matching knockdown, orange peel, popcorn texture), carpentry (hanging doors, baseboards, rotted wood- fascia, trim, etc), remodeling (bath, kitchen), tile/flooring, and light plumbing & electrical experience. We offer paid holidays and paid vacation after 1 year with the company.
