THRIVE NOW THERAPY LLC in Gastonia, NC is seeking a passionate Home Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality, in-home care. You will work independently with supervision from a licensed Physical Therapist, traveling to patients' homes to improve mobility and function.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA licensure in North Carolina.
• Previous home health or outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a flexible caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized care plans focused on improving patient mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating care plans as directed by the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the Gastonia, NC area to deliver scheduled therapy sessions.
