Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to provide in-home care for seniors and adults in Medford, OR and surrounding Rogue Valley communities. The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and independence for clients at home, with options for flexible schedules and ongoing training.

You will perform personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders, while documenting care notes and coordinating with our office team for the best client fit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Ensure safety supervision and peace of mind.
• Document daily care notes using the mobile app.
• Communicate with the office team clearly and promptly.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Part-Time Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Safety supervision and peace of mind.
• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicating effectively withouroffice team.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for caring individuals who are passionate about helping others. You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
