Blackburn's Physicians Pharmacy, Inc. in Tarentum, PA is hiring a Delivery Technician to join our team. You will deliver, set up, maintain, and retrieve durable medical equipment while providing patients and caregivers with clear instructions and respectful, compassionate service.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service. You will drive routes, document deliveries, and help ensure safety and infection-control standards while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to manage a delivery schedule and complete documentation accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hand and basic shop tools.
• Experience assembling, maintaining, or repairing mechanical or electronic equipment is preferred.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, field service, healthcare, or DME experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, and deliver medical equipment and supplies to patient homes and healthcare facilities.
• Set up equipment and confirm that it is clean, safe, and functioning properly.
• Explain basic equipment operation, care, and maintenance to patients and caregivers.
• Complete home safety assessments and required delivery documentation.
• Obtain signatures, collect applicable copayments or payments, and return documentation promptly for processing.
• Pick up equipment, and keep clean and used items properly separated during transport.
• Clean, disinfect, test, and prepare returned equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on durable medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, supplies, tools, and vehicle-stocked items.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and scheduled inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle and follow required maintenance schedules.
• Follow all company safety, infection-control, OSHA, Joint Commission, and regulatory requirements.
• Support additional delivery, warehouse, and service projects as assigned.
