Job summary

Quipt Home Medical, Corp. in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Medical Equipment Delivery Technician to handle delivery, setup, patient education and pickup of medical equipment in patients' homes.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, driving a company vehicle, and participating in on-call rotations; the successful candidate will uphold Quipt policies, ensure safe setup, and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years old to drive a company vehicle.
• Driver's License required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Pass background check.
• Regularly lift/move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and complete assignments timely and accurately.
• On-call rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of Quipt policies and procedures applicable to this position.
• Set up medical equipment in the patient’s home in a professional, safe and timely manner.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for the setup.
• Teach patient about safe and proper use of medical equipment.
• Instruct patient on safe use of disposable supplies.
• Instruct patient on cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Make routine deliveries and pickups for existing patients.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in the patient’s home.
• Help patient remain compliant with use of medical equipment.
• Keep vehicle clean, organized and maintained.
• Comply with all regulations.
• Assist Quipt in meeting growth/financial goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
