Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Medical Equipment Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, educate patients, and pick up medical equipment at patients’ homes. Mon-Fri with an on-call rotation, you will ensure safe operation and proper paperwork for each setup.

You will teach patients, assist with disposables, perform basic equipment maintenance, and help keep the vehicle orderly while complying with regulations. Must lift 75 pounds and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive a company vehicle.
• Driver's License (Required)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Must pass background check
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments timely and accurately.
• On-call rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of Quipt policies and procedures applicable to this position.
• Set up medical equipment in patient homes professionally, safely, and timely.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for the setup.
• Teach patients about safe and proper use of equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper use of disposable supplies.
• Instruct patients on cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Make routine deliveries and pickups for existing patients.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in patients' homes.
• Assist patients in remaining compliant with equipment usage.
• Keep vehicle clean, organized, and maintained.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist Quipt in meeting growth and financial goals.
