Job summary

Liaison Technology Group is seeking an Entry-Level Home Integration Technician in Nashville, TN to learn and grow in the smart home and A/V integration field. You will work hands-on with high-end residential and commercial installations alongside experienced professionals.

Training is provided on industry-leading systems, and certifications in Crestron, Control4, and Lutron can be earned. The role supports installations, technical troubleshooting, and excellent customer experiences on-site.

• Complete training modules via provided programs and gain certifications in Crestron, Control4, and Lutron.
• Ensure clean, professional job sites and excellent customer interactions during installations and support.

Position Summary

We're looking for an Entry-Level Home Integration Technician who is eager to learn, hands-on, and excited to build a career in the smart home and A/V integration industry. You’ll be trained on industry-leading systems like Crestron, Control4, and Lutron, and work alongside experienced professionals on high-end residential and commercial installations.

What You’ll Do

Installation & Setup

• Assist in the installation and setup of audio/video systems, including pre-wire, trim, and final installs.
• Support control system installations (lighting, shading, theater)
• Help with satellite/cable system setup and networking hardware installation

Technical Support

• Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting of A/V and networking systems
• Work closely with programmers to help commission systems

Training & Development

• Complete training modules via CEDIA, Prosource Elite, and manufacturer portals
• Gain certifications in Crestron, Control4, and Lutron

Customer Experience

• Ensure clean, professional job sites and excellent customer interactions
• Represent the company’s mission to deliver systems that Wow clients

Physical Demands & Working Environment

• Installations will require manual labor
• Installations will often take place outdoors and at construction sites
• Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Other Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel to out-of-state job sites, occasionally
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check (DCJS certification requirement)

Nice to Have (or Will Train)

• Familiarity with basic networking concepts
• Experience with smart home devices or A/V setups
• Exposure to control systems (Crestron, Control4, Lutron)
