Job summary

Nursing Float Health connects patients with in-home IV medication administration. Nurses work as independent contractors, taking assignments when they want, where they want, with no obligation to accept a job.

Ideal candidates are RNs with 5+ years hospital-based nursing or home infusion, licensed and BLS, ready to perform IV infusions and patient education in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospital-based nursing or home infusion/infusion center experience.
• RN or BSN required; current RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care and education in patients' homes.
• Place and maintain PIVs; administer IV infusions and medications safely.
• Perform nursing duties with emphasis on IV administration and patient safety.

Float Health is an on-demand nursing service company. Float partners with specialty pharmacies to connect patients and nurses for in-home medication administration. Each nurse works as an independent nurse contractor to provide patients with IV medications, including IVIGs and monoclonal antibodies. Previous job experience required:

• 5+ years of hospital-based nursing or home infusion/infusion center

Responsibilities include:

• Providing one-on-one patient care and education in the comfort of their own home
• Utilize your clinical IV skills by placing and maintaining PIVs
• Administer IV infusions and medications to patients in a safe and efficient manner

Previous job experience preferred:

• Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Infusion Center, Infusion Home Health

Required Education:

• RN or BSN

Required Documents:

• Current Active State Registered Nursing License or Compact Nurse License (NLC)
• Current BLS
• Proof of Nursing Liability Insurance
