Job summary

Float Health, Inc. connects experienced nurses with patients needing specialty medications administered in the home. Float Health nurses provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes, choosing visits that fit their location and schedule with no minimum commitment.

As a Float Health nurse, you administer IV medications (IVIG, monoclonal antibodies), start and maintain peripheral IVs, monitor patients during treatment, and provide education and support with safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license required; ADN/BSN accepted.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • 3+ years hospital-based or home infusion experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes.
  • Administer IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies.
  • Start and maintain peripheral IV lines.
  • Monitor patients during treatment and respond to changes.
  • Educate patients and provide ongoing support.

What You'll Do

As a Float Health nurse, you'll provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes, including:

  • Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies
  • Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
  • Monitoring patients throughout treatment
  • Providing patient education and support
  • Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care
Requirements
  • Education/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted
  • Current BLS certification
  • Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding
  • 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience
