Job summary

KabaFusion is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Edison, NJ to support pharmacists with prescription processing, sterile compounding, and inventory management. The role ensures safe, compliant delivery of home infusion services and serves patients, caregivers, and providers with accurate records and strong customer service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, current licensure or registration where required, and sterile compounding experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and unrestricted pharmacy technician licensure/certification where required by state law.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through PTCB is acceptable; or eligibility to obtain within six months of hire.
• Completion of sterile compounding training and competency assessments as required by state law.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience preferred; home infusion, sterile compounding, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> standards and practices.
• Knowledge of basic drug terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in coordinating daily pharmacy operations for safe, timely delivery of services.
• Perform prescription processing, order entry, and related documentation under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Prepare and compound sterile medications in compliance with laws and standards.
• Maintain clean room environments and equipment to support regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Manage pharmacy inventory including ordering and stocking.
• Coordinate patient medication deliveries and related service logistics.
• Maintain records in electronic information systems and provide professional customer service to patients and providers.
• Assist with reimbursement processes and documentation; generate and maintain reports.
• Provide cross-functional support to leadership and complete required training.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
