Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion pharmacy.
  • Licensure or certification as listed (ExCPT/PTCB+State Board).
  • High school diploma or GED as minimum education.
  • Pharmacy terminology and aseptic technique knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and verifying prescriptions.
  • Reviewing patient information and ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist in education and precepting of pharmacy staff and students.
  • Provide patient education on medication use.
  • Maintain infection-control protocols and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.
