Job summary

InfuCare Rx® is seeking a skilled IV Infusion Nurse in the Wauchula, FL area to provide high-quality home infusion services. You will use nursing skills to monitor patients, administer IV therapy, and communicate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment outside the hospital setting.

Applicants should have a current Florida RN license, 3 years of RN experience with IV skills, CPR certification, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Florida.
• 3 years' experience as an RN preferred, ideally with home care IV skills.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or ASN/ADN from accredited program.
• Current CPR.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Successfully pass annual competency checks.
• Clean background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy and monitor patient condition.
• Observe and document patient status and notify nursing team of changes.

Job Skills, Requirements And Responsibilities

• Attention to Detail Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret and monitor patient9s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, acting as the patient advocate
• Interpersonal Skills: Working collaboratively with an exceptional team to help meet positive client care outcomes
• Communication: Discuss health care with patients and listen to their concerns, relay to the nursing team
• IV therapy
• Compliance: Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Successful Candidates Must Meet The Following Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• 3 years9 experience as an RN preferred, ideally with some home care experience, must possess exceptional IV skills
• A Bachelor of Science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program
• Current CPR
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Successfully pass annual competency checks
• Clean background and criminal record and must pass drug test

Physical Demands

Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
