Job summary

Lowe's in Kahului, Hawaii, is hiring a Customer Service Associate to greet customers and help them find products for home improvement.

You will assist with locating merchandise, stock replenishment, and processing orders, while delivering a friendly, knowledge-based shopping experience across departments. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within Lowe's.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic software.
• 6 months experience with retail tech such as smartphones/tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross‑functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
