Job summary

Truvine Homecare Services, Inc. is seeking a Home Healthcare Aide to work in patients' homes under a one-on-one care plan. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and document changes while building trusting relationships with patients and families. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Prior home health or hospice experience is a plus. A valid HHA certification, HS diploma/GED, and driver's license are required; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of professional home health experience; valid driver's license; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, meal preparation or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert; assist with medication administration.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
