Job summary

Haven Home in Branson, MO is seeking a Speech Therapist PRN to support quality patient care in home health settings. The role requires an active Missouri SLP license and experience in home health, with familiarity in OASIS assessments.

You will conduct initial evaluations, provide counseling to clients and families, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and agency staff, delivering compassionate, patient-centered therapy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes the initial evaluation visit in cases where the physician has ordered speech therapy services only.


• Conducts comprehensive OASIS initial assessments including physical, emotional, and mental needs.


• Counsels the client and family in meeting SLP and related needs.


• Develops and implements an individualized plan of care related to SLP in consultation with the client’s physician and other agency personnel as appropriate


• Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative SLP procedures.

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Current Missouri SLP license in good standing.


• Preferred minimum of one year experience as a SLP within the last three years preferred.


• Recent home health experience in the past year.


• Previous OASIS experience preferred.
