PARS Therapy in San Antonio, TX is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will deliver direct speech therapy services, design engaging exercises, and educate patients and families as part of a patient-centered care model.

The ideal candidate holds a CCC-SLP with an active Texas license, a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and experience with clinical documentation systems.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and Texas license in good standing.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation systems and reporting software.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to therapy tools.
• Standing position required for duties.
• Strong communication, accountability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to patients per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises tailored to each patient’s goals.
• Provide counseling, education and support to patients and families.
• Establish measurable goals and track progress, noting improvements and challenges.
• Ensure proper setup, use and sterilization of therapy equipment.
• Review patient records prior to sessions to tailor treatment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay updated.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to patients in accordance with the physician's orders and individualized Plan of Care
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises and activities tailored to each patient's communication goals
• Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
• Establish measurable goals and track patient progress, identifying both improvements and ongoing challenges
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of speech therapy equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Review patient records prior to sessions to develop a clear, personalized treatment approach
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology

Requirements:
