Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home visits in Baton Rouge, LA. You will assess and treat adult clients for speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders, including AAC for those with communication challenges.

Requirements include an active state SLP license, CCC-SLP, and CPR. Prior experience is preferred; compensation includes a $50.00–$60.00 hourly pay range with comprehensive benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC for deaf/hearing-impaired individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
