Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver skilled therapy in patients’ homes under physician supervision. You may work in single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care settings.

The role involves assessing and treating language impairments, dysphagia, cognitive-communication issues, voice disorders, and AAC needs, with patients who may have had a stroke or progressive diseases.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech-language therapy in home settings under physician supervision.
• Evaluate and treat language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and AAC needs.
• Work with patients who have had strokes and progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s or dementia.
• Treat in home settings may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.
