Classic Home Care, a nurse-owned home health agency in Southeast Michigan, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for home health care. This contingent position offers visit-based pay, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule in a supportive, RN-led environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Michigan Speech Therapy license, have reliable transportation, and prefer home health care experience.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Speech Therapy license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.

Responsibilities

• Provides services in speech pathology or audiology per physician’s plan.
• Assists in assessing patient functioning and plan of care.
• Records and reports patient reaction to treatment and changes in condition.
• Instructs patient and family in speech pathology phases to promote independence.
• Recommends hearing tests by audiologist when necessary.
