Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time home health position based in Kent County. The RN will perform patient assessments, collaborate with the care team to develop and implement plans of care, and supervise LPNs and HHAs as needed.

The role includes on-call responsibilities, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing opportunities for professional growth within a leading home health and hospice provider in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience as an RN.
• Current RN license for the state you’re assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collaborates with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Makes referrals to other disciplines as indicated by patient needs or documents rationale for not doing so.
• Promotes patient health and independence through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures.
• Supervises LPNs and HHAs.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
